Greet & Meet by airport Hostess who will accompany the group from the Passport Control out to the awaiting Guide & Bus. Proceed to Hotel in Tiberius for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast en route to the North we shall travel onwards to Haifa, Israel's largest port city, built on the slopes of Mt. Carmel. View the famous Persian Hanging Gardens for a view of the Bahai Shrine. We then make a brief halt at the Elijah cave at Stella Marris and then we continue to Muhraqa, the place of sacrifice and the site where Prophet Elijah defeated the False Prophets of Ba'al. From here we continue to Mt. Tabor, the site of the Transfiguration of Jesus. For today your tour ends at Tiberius nestled on the Sea of Galilee where Jesus performed many miracles. Dinner and overnight in the Galilee.
This morning we drive through the landscapes of Galilee and later for a ride in a replica of a Galilean fishing boat of that time, on the Sea of Galilee and where Jesus calmed the storm and walked on the water, visit Capernaum - the canter of Jesus' ministry after He left Nazareth. We stop at Tabgha- the Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes and the expressive Church of the Beatitudes, where Jesus gave the Sermon on the Mount. We make a brief halt at St. Peter's house, the Church of Primacy of Peter and the place where Jesus bestowed St. Peter with His authority. This is believed to be the place where Jesus dined with His disciples. The flat Rock known as Mensa Christ or Christ's table commemorates this event. In the afternoon we visit Cana where Jesus performed His first Miracle, changing water into wine at the wedding feast. Then on to Nazareth, the boyhood town of Jesus and home of Mary and Joseph and visit the Basilica of the Annunciation built over the grotto where Archangel Gabriel appeared to announce that she would bear a son, Jesus. We'll visit also Joseph's workshop. Return to your Hotel in the Galilee for Dinner and overnight
Today you will leave Galilee for Jerusalem via the Jordan Valley. We stop at Yardenit on the Jordan River, the traditional baptismal, site, and then drive along the Jordan Valley bypassing the Ancient city of Jericho, believed to be the oldest city on earth, and visiting Mt. Qarantal, (with cable car) where Jesus spent 40 days when Satan tried to tempt him. It is also the place where Jesus stopped on his way to Jerusalem, on the Eve of the Passover and were Jesus cured the blind man during his stay at Zachaeus house. Descend to the Dead Sea' the lowest point on earth (400 m. below sea level), after visiting Qumran, the caves where the Dead Sea scrolls were found, make a brief stop at a private beach and take the opportunity to float in the salty buoyant water, rich in minerals. We drive along the Judean Wilderness to the city of Jerusalem. Check-in, Dinner and overnight at your Hotel in Bethlehem.
After breakfast we shall visit the Church of Nativity and the Manger Square, view the Shepherds Fields and if possible visit Rachel's Tomb (Depend upon security situation) Later proceed to Mt of Olives visiting the Church of Ascension, the Paternoster Church. Then continue for a panoramic view from the Mt. of Olives of Jerusalem. From there travel along the Sunday Palm Tree Road by foot to the Gethsemane Gardens. Then visit the Dominus Flavit Church,. Later in the evening we will experience the ancient walls of the Tower of David coming alive in a sound and light show that will take us on a tour of Jerusalem's history Dinner and overnight at hotel in Bethlehem.
After breakfast and check-out and head out to Jerusalem to take the Via Dolorosa (Way of Grief), traditionally accepted as the last route done by Jesus. We shall follow the Stations of the Cross to Golgotha, the place where Jesus was crucified marking significant events along the route; the Chapel of the Flagellation where, according to tradition, the Roman soldiers scourged Jesus and placed the thorn crown on His head, and the Ecce Homo Arch. Early tradition held that Pontius Pilate stood here and thundered "Ecce Homo!" which means "Behold the man!" which is what Pilate said when he presented Jesus to the crowd. Below the Convent is the "Floor" where Jesus was publicly tried and where the Roman soldiers mocked him. The last 5 Stations of the Cross are inside the Church of the Holy Sepulchre visible from the distance, with its two silver domes. Also "The Tomb" widely believed to be part of the stone that covered Jesus Tomb. Later we take a walk through the colourful Bazaars of the old city. visit Mt Zion with the upper room and King David's Tomb. We shall also visit the church of St. Peter Gallicantu and the church of Dormition Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight
Today we will visit the New City of Jerusalem. Pass by the Knesset Israel's Parliament House and its giant Menorah. Visit Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Museum. We will visit Ein Karem - Church of Visitation. Later onwards along the Ella Valley and Latrun, a strategic Hilltop overlooking the city of Jerusalem then on to Tel Aviv & Jaffa to see the house of Simon the Tanner and visit St. Peter's Church. Continue to the airport for Check In at 17:00 Return flight at 20:15.
